Last night on The Late Show With David Letterman Dayton, OH indie rock heros performed “The Unsinkable Fats Domino”.  It’s the first single from their upcoming album, Let’s Go Eat The Factory, which you will be able to purchase at local record stores near you on January 17th.

Halloween is coming early this year to Roscoe Village. On October 25, the brilliant Chicago folk performer Old Man Benton will present a multimedia ghost tale to frighten and entertain the patrons of the Hungry Brain on Belmont. The story, which is being deemed ‘spooky folk’ will include original music, sound effects and the natural cadence and timbre of the human voice to re-create a truly chilling tale based on real events.

Old Man Benton is the brainchild of Chicago folk musician and radio producer Greg Hansberry, who has collaborated with an audio engineer, a writer, a teaching artist and several other musicians for this grand event, titled, Old Man Benton Presents: A Ghost Story. Be there and be scared.

Oct. 25th, 2010  at The Hungry Brain.  9pm, 21+, FREE ADMISSION

Conan O’Brien is back and on basic cable!  Obrien’s new untitled talk show will air on TBS starting in November.  Co Co said in a statement:

“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable. My plan is working perfectly.”

Perfect plan indeed, the show will be leading in Lopez Tonight! (yes George Lopez) (yes George Lopez has a show)
